The view of the sea, the embrace of the sun, and the “easy vibe” are the main characteristics of the renovated, slightly more than 70 m² sized apartment in a seaside town in Dalmatia (Croatia).
It is a minor renovation, keeping the basic floorplan as there is, but it brought a brand-new vibe to the apartment. We got rid of dark colors, heavy materials, and oversized furniture. Choosing light tones and natural materials brings the room lightness and a Mediterranean touch. We upgraded the maritime vibe with carefully selected greenery and arched passages between the entrance and living room and the living room and kitchen. Rounded transitions bring softness and character to the room.
While the sleeping and living spaces were mainly newly furnished and stylishly refreshed, the bathroom underwent a complete renovation. The bathroom measures only 3.5 m2, but the new layout offers everything you need – a toilet bowl, a walk-in shower, a sink, and enough storage space.
So, while we are moving on to the next interior design project, the sun continues to dance on the waves of the Mediterranean Sea.
