Warm WELCOME dear reader. You just landed right at the beginning of something new.

Do you agree that there is something magical about the new beginnings? Well, this is
exactly what this blog and BOLDURS are – a new beginning. BASED ON KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE BUT AS FRESH AS JUST-BAKED BREAD FROM A BAKERY. I do have something to admit – I love beginnings and it was only a day or two after I have decided to start this business when I saw a T-shirt with the “TRUST THE MAGIC OF THE NEW BEGINNINGS” inscription. My eyes lit up and my heart literally jumped! Yes, I bought it! And yes, it is very dear to me. Nothing special about the T-shirt actually, it is just that it was there at the right moment with this encouraging message. Anyway, I am really excited about launching the company, the website, and the blog, and I am even more excited about sharing it with you. Join me and be the one that “WAS THERE FROM THE START”.

You will also find some great content for you if you are passionate about interior design and NOT so passionate about the never-ending circle of housekeeping tasks. ABOUT THE CONTENT

The blog is closely related to the company, BOLDURS, that focuses on interior design and QUALITY INDOOR LIVING. Here are some topics I intend to talk about, just enough so you get the feeling. Basics first of course, so we are starting with the introduction of this blog, the introduction of the blogger (me) and the introduction of the reader (you). We will talk about interior design in general, about the FUNCTIONALITY of interiors and interior elements (floor plans, furniture, fittings, light, materials, planning spaces…), about the AESTHETICS (mood, style, colors, materials, decor, plants…) and about getting and maintaining things NEAT AND TIDY (gather together, tips for storage, cleaning, organizing, maintenance….). We also have some work to do with breaking myths and stereotypes about interior design and designers. In addition, you can expect some PROJECT SHARING and real-life STORIES (related to renovations, interiors and living of course).

In short, you can expect everything about interior design, that will equip you with knowledge and inspiration and help you build that bridge, bridge to better interiors. IF YOU HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE, YOU HAVE THE CONFIDENCE TOO. And it will be so much easier when you are faced with renovating, furnishing, designing your home. SO MANY WORDS, REALLY?

This is probably the longest blog post I will write. Our every day is pretty much full and what we all want and need is something RELEVANT AND QUICK, PLEASE! I’ll strive for short and meaningful content. This I promise you. Posts will mostly contain practical advice, but yes, some will be more theoretical (especially those first ones, when we get down to the basics). THE BASICS ARE so important guys! They are ESSENTIAL LIKE A GOOD FLOOR PLAN.

The good news is there will be A LOT OF GRAPHIC MATERIAL, like photos, graphics, infographics, and other forms so you get the right information as quickly as possible.
